The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown. Robert Langdon, the famed Harvard symbologist, is summoned by the police to the Louvre in the middle of the night. Langdon had a meeting scheduled with the curator the following day. Unfortunately, the elderly curator has been mysteriously murdered at the foot of the Mona Lisa. This victim was a high-ranking member of the clandestine society called the Priory of Sion, whose secret members included Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, and Da Vinci. Clues left at the scene, compel Langdon to join forces with the curator's grandaughter, Sophie Neveu, a criminologist with the French police. Together the two attempt to follow the clues across Europe to solve the murder mystery. They are pulled into more intricate mysteries involving discoveries of ancient religious secrets: from the mystery behind the Last Supper to the secrets of the Holy Grail. Considered suspects in the curator's murder, Langdon and Neveu are pursued by the police as well as a faceless opponent. Their unknown opponent wants to learn  more of the secrets Langdon and Neveu have unearthed...but, is their opponent intent on finding the answer to the Priory of Sion or in hiding that secret forever???
